Welcome to November, Npower Farmers family!
A brand-new month is here, and we are excited to welcome every farmer, agripreneur, agricultural student, processor, distributor, investor and lover of agriculture into another month of possibilities.
Whether you are managing a large farm, running a small backyard garden, raising livestock, processing food, selling agricultural products or still planning to start your agricultural journey, November is another opportunity to take your dreams seriously.
We celebrate you for every seed planted, every challenge overcome, every lesson learned and every effort you have invested in agriculture.
This month, let’s move with a fresh mindset:
Grow with a plan. Don’t just plant because others are planting. Understand your market, production costs, weather conditions and expected returns.
Think beyond harvesting. Don’t limit your business to producing raw farm commodities. Explore processing, packaging, storage and other ways to increase the value of your produce.
Build stronger connections. Connect with other farmers, reliable suppliers, agricultural experts, processors, transporters and potential buyers. The right partnership can open doors that working alone may not open.
Keep proper farm records. Record your expenses, sales, production levels, losses and profits. Good records help you understand your business and make better decisions.
Find your market early. Don’t wait until harvest before searching for buyers. Start building relationships with customers, retailers, restaurants, wholesalers and processing companies now.
Protect your investment. Pay attention to farm security, safe storage, proper handling of produce and responsible business practices.
🇳🇬 November Agricultural Focus: Let’s Build More Than Farms!
A major conversation in Nigeria’s agricultural sector this November is the need to strengthen agricultural value chains, agro-industrialisation and market access.
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security highlighted the importance of connecting farmers with processors, manufacturers and markets at the 48th National Council on Agriculture and Food Security meeting in Enugu.
This is an important message for every Nigerian farmer.
Our future is not only in producing more food. It is also in reducing waste, processing what we produce, creating jobs, building reliable businesses and ensuring farmers earn better income from their hard work.
Imagine a farmer who grows cassava and also understands garri processing, packaging and distribution.
Imagine a maize farmer who has already connected with poultry feed producers before harvest.
Imagine a tomato farmer who understands preservation and processing instead of losing a large portion of the harvest to spoilage.
That is the kind of agricultural mindset we want to encourage.
Our November Challenge to Every Npower Farmers Member
Before this month gets too busy, take a moment to answer these questions:
- What agricultural activity are you currently involved in?
- What do you want to achieve before the end of November?
- What is your biggest challenge right now: finance, land, inputs, labour, security, knowledge or access to buyers?
- What agricultural skill or business opportunity do you want to explore this month?
Don’t keep your answers to yourself. Share them with our community. Someone here may have the knowledge, experience, connection or opportunity that can help you.
Let’s Grow Together!
At Npower Farmers, we believe that agriculture should create opportunities, strengthen communities, support livelihoods and contribute to Nigeria’s food security.
We want this community to be more than a group where people simply read messages. Let’s make it a place where farmers share experiences, discover opportunities, learn new skills, connect with buyers and support one another.
Our November promise: More useful information, more agricultural opportunities, more knowledge-sharing and stronger connections across the agricultural value chain.

MORAL OF THE DAY
A new month will not automatically change your farm, but a new decision, a better plan and consistent action can change your agricultural business.
Don’t just wish for a successful farming month. Plan for it, work towards it and measure your progress.
Happy New Month, Npower Farmers family! Welcome to November. Let’s plant ideas, grow opportunities and harvest success together!
